If you are a resident of the Roanoke metro area (Roanoke City or County, Salem, as well as Botetourt, Franklin, or Bedford), and you’ve been injured, you need to make sure you hire a LOCAL, skilled trial lawyer to represent you. The judges that serve in these courts serve within a Circuit for many years, and practicing before those judges on all sorts of cases, with motions, briefs, hearings, and of course, trials, is essential to being effective in representing someone in what may be the most important fight of their life. Familiarity–and the lawyers’ personal reputations–with those courts, their judges, clerks, and jury selection procedures and skills is a major advantage. Out-of-town lawyers soliciting your case are not only unfamiliar with trying personal injury or business litigation in Roanoke area courts, but they are typically not at all interested in doing so.
